چکیده

Orthotopic neobladder reconstruction is becoming an increasing option as a urinary diversion following cystectomy for bladder cancer. The purpose of the article to describe, step-by-step, our technique robotic intracorporeal neobladder, Vesuvian Neobladder. primary aim this new surgical procedure simplify and speed up reservoir reconstruction, while at same time obtaining appropriate capacity. Neobladder was performed employing intestinal tract 36 cm which successively shaped in order form with three horns (left, right, caudal), formed via use mechanical stapler. Both ureters were stented anastomosed left right horn urethral-neobladder anastomosis caudal horn. In initial experience, two male patients non-metastatic muscle-invasive cancer underwent radical followed by reconfiguration. mean age 58.5 ± 3.53 years overall operative 435 35.35 min, average 59 4.24 min. No intraoperative or postoperative complications reported. feasible good alternative traditional orthotopic procedures, permitting us reduce obtain fair

Canada's first robotic-assisted totally intracorporeal orthotopic ileal neobladder.

Despite robotic-assisted radical cysto-prostatectomy being performed in several centres, the urinary diversion is most often performed extra-corporeal. A robotic intra-corporeal ileal neobladder is technically demanding and long-term functional outcome data is lacking. We performed a robotic intra-corporeal ileal neobladder in a 73-year-old man for muscle invasive non-metastatic bladder cancer....

Objective: To describe the surgical technique and initial experience of laparoscopic radical cystectomy and intracorporeal orthotopic ileal neobladder with bilateral isoperistaltic afferent limbs. Materials and Methods: From January 2014 to Jun 2015, 11 patients underwent a new method of orthotopic ileal neobladder intracorporeally after laparoscopic radical cystectomy at our institution. To co...

Laparoscopic biliopancreatic diversion with duodenal switch: technique and initial experience.

BACKGROUND The duodenal Switch (DS) is a variant of the biliopancreatic diversion (BPD) for the surgical treatment of morbid obesity. MATERIALS AND METHODS The laparoscopic DS (LapDS) operation is described, and the early surgical outcomes of 16 patients are reported. RESULTS Postoperative stay was 5 to 8 days. Local wound infection at a trocar site was the most common local complication. ...

Continent urinary diversion.

From August 1982 through March 1988, 531 patients have undergone continent urinary diversion using an ileal reservoir constructed according to the method of Kock. For the last 18 months we have used the principle of Kock reservoir construction for primary lower urinary tract reconstruction after cystectomy in 39 highly selected male patients by means of a ureteroileal urethrostomy. Early compli...

Laparoscopic cystectomy and intracorporeal continent urinary diversion (Mainz II) in treatment for interstitial cystitis.

INTRODUCTION Interstitial cystitis (IC) is a difficult-to-manage chronic and insidious condition. We present a series of patients with IC who failed to respond to conservative treatment. The patients underwent total cystectomy with completely intracorporeally performed continent urinary diversion (Mainz II rectosigmoid pouch) as a radical alternative to the treatment of this condition. MATERI...
